Just over 4 years ago, Bistro Blanc opened its door un-announced to the public. July 2008 was an odd time for everybody, including us, as we were opening a new business at the beginning of one of the worst economical times this country has seen since the Great Depression. We knew the stakes were high, and the risk of offering a new restaurant in the area may eventually come back to bite us. Yet we continued through our endeavor knowing something else - we were offering some of the best foods in Howard County, paired with phenomenal wines at a remote location away from the typical grinds of Baltimore, DC and Columbia. Also, we were the first to offer "self serve" wines by the glass via our Enomatic Wine Machine.
This was just one of the many cutting edge gizmos that we employed to create a warm, friendly and enjoyable experience for our guests. It's been a long eventful road, and along the way we have made many great friends and seen our "family" grow by leaps and bounds. We are proud of our many accomplishments, yet recognize that we are still just getting started! Most importantly we recognize that without you, our cherished guests, all of our successes would never have come to fruition. You have our utmost gratitude and our humble appreciation.
